This opportunity provides funding to local public health agencies and other organizations to establish partnerships with community stakeholders, such as minority-serving or other advocacy organizations, to increase confidence in the use of vaccines by the public, healthcare providers, and policymakers. Partnerships will work to plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based practices and develop novel approaches to increase vaccine confidence among populations with low vaccination rates, including African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, residents in rural communities, medical assistants, immigrant and refugee communities, young adults, and adolescents. The initiative is intended to support local vaccination efforts and help communities respond to and prevent COVID-19 and other vaccine preventable diseases.
